Fashion's Black-Up Walks the Thin White Line

When Robert Downey Jr had to black up for the role of Kirk Lazarus in Tropic Thunder, he remarked “If it's done right, it could be the type of role you called Peter Sellers to do 35 years ago. If you don't do it right, we're all going to hell.”

Gerät

Poor young woman! Evil farmer! This creepy illustration is published in issue #36 of "Balkon & Garten". The topic is "Gerät".

Horsemeat

This illustration is inspired by a story of Ödön von Horváth, a German-language playwright and author of the twentieth century. It is a b/w laser printing, which I have afterwards coloured with pencil and crayon . I have done this work for our exhibition "9x9", which is taking place at the Kunstwerk in Cologne this weekend.
